Chris guided us on our Sunsets & Fondue experience on Mt. Sansea. It exceeded our expectations!!!!! We met Chris at the lower parking lot & he drove us up to the upper lot in his Yukon--somewhat bumpy at times but still comfortable. He expertly shared hiking strategies & encouragement for steep sections going up & coming down with headlamps in the dark--2 78 year olds & a 64 year old with vision limitations. The sunset & the fondue was spectacular. We toasted 56 years of marriage!! Thanks, Chris for your expertise & hospitality. Excellent fondue!!

About OUr Half-Day Tours
Hiking is simply walking in the forest and we have hikes and tours for all levels and abilities. Our trips are generally on well-maintained trails and we rarely venture off trail. Our guides ensure that a comfortable pace is set for everyone. If your physical ability is limited through your daily life, we have several half-day options available where you can test out your ability and feel comfortable with our hiking programs.
Our main priority is to get outside to enjoy nature and our surroundings. We are rarely in a rush and will never push our guests outside of their comfort zone.
Yes! Whether you're planning an anniversary trip or even thinking of popping the question, we can tailor your experience to be exactly what you need to make it special. We'd suggest our Sunset Cheese Fondue hike as the perfect engagement hike.
While we do like traveling in the mountains with kids, some of our hikes can be quite long. For that reason we have an age limit of 12 and up to keep our trips flowing and enjoyable for all.
We sure do! Many of our trips start deep in the backcountry and require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access the trailheads. We include transportation to and from these locations in “Koni”, our fully loaded Yukon. We can accommodate a maximum of 6 people in Koni. Koni is a great new addition to our program and we are sure you will be super comfortable as we make our way to the start of the hike.
